Welcome from the Headteacher

The Forest High School has high expectations of all.

The School has engaged with some of the best learning providers in the county to establish a rich, extensive curriculum offer and to support classroom teaching, ensuring all students exceed their potential.

There are many opportunities for parents and carers to participate in the life of the School and to assist with your child's progress.

But school is not just about qualifications! A school has a responsibility to develop the whole child, including enriching their experiences through sport, the arts, or outdoor pursuits.

To this end, we work in partnership with excellent sport clubs, performing and visual art expertise and through schemes such as the Young Enterprise and the Cyber Challenge!

The School is small, intimate and student focused. A vibrant, successful and responsive secondary school is the heart of any community and we aim to become a school that our students, Cinderford town and the Forest of Dean can continue to be proud of.

I am very excited about the future for our students and would be delighted to meet with you personally to show you our school in action.
