Strength through knowledge

We aim to give our students the best education possible, encouraging their individual aptitudes, developing skills for life and a positive, confident outlook.

We have an absolute focus on active learning through investigation and problem solving and believe learners develop through hands-on learning and dynamic enrichment opportunities.

Our excellent facilities support a very diverse range of extra-curricular academic, sporting, performing arts and interest activities which take place before, during and after school. Visits abroad, and visits to national places of interest are offered annually, as are visits to theatres, film, dance, music and art events.

A fortnightly two-hour Enrichment programme is built-in to the timetable. This allows students to engage in an activity chosen from a wide list which changes every 12 weeks.
