SGS College works in partnership with Gloucestershire College where there are many progression opportunities available.

Many of our students go on to study A Levels, apprenticeships, post-16 vocational and higher education courses at Gloucestershire College campuses in the Forest of Dean, Gloucester and Cheltenham.

The Gloucestershire College Forest of Dean Campus offers an excellent Sixth Form, alongside a wide variety of career focused options, including arts, catering, construction and building services, IT and computing, hairdressing and beauty therapy, health, social care and early years, music technology and outdoor adventure courses.

University of Gloucestershire

Finally, the University of Gloucestershire provides support for the school in raising the aspiration of all students wishing to progress to university.

Students have access to workshops, visiting lecturers and specialist resources as appropriate. The University, which is also a Teaching University, provides the brightest and best teaching support assistants for the school and continually updates and develops staff in the latest teaching theory, techniques and developments.

At The Forest High School, your child will not only have access to the widest curriculum possible, we invest in the quality of teaching in the classroom.
