Our commitment

Through our Home/School Agreement signed by parents, students and ourselves we ensure that we each know and accept our responsibilities.

The School agrees to:

  • Provide a safe place for your child to learn
  • Insist on high standards of behaviour based upon respect, courtesy and consideration towards each other
  • Prepare lessons thoroughly and mark work promptly and constructively
  • Regularly set, mark and monitor homework for all students
  • Provide an appropriate curriculum for all students, including a wide range of extracurricular activities
  • Set independent study on a regular basis
  • Insist on good attendance and punctuality
  • Keep parents regularly informed about concerns, progress and School matters
  • Provide and promote the use of the personal planner by monitoring its use in tutor time
  • Recognise and reward good effort and attainment
  • Encourage students to take an active interest in extra activities.
