Active Learning

Our curriculum focuses upon active learning ensuring that our students:

  • are trained as' learning researchers' to play a key leadership role in shaping their learning experiences
  • work alongside teachers, the senior leadership team and governors to continuously improve teaching and learning
  • are the drivers in a range of extra-curricular clubs and activities.

The Forest High School equips learners with the skills, attitudes and awareness needed for life in the 21st century. Working alongside businesses, industry, colleges and universities we understand what they require from young people in the real world. SGS College is also an Associate Faculty of the University of Gloucestershire and being our sponsor, is able to provide the school with excellent progression links.
